But, unlike some of our competitors, we don’t just sell the products in our shop,
we use them as well – in our motorhomes, caravans, narrowboats, cars and van. We’re
constantly testing products and looking for ways to improve their performance and
this means that we offer our customers reliable and honest advice based on experience.

We’ve tried to make shopping on the RoadPro website simple, reliable and
secure. We hope that, if we’ve succeeded, you’ll be a satisfied customer and
then become a regular customer.
SIMPLICITY
To find the product you’re interested in, you can either use the
search function or just go through the categories. These have been organised in
a logical, straightforward manner so that locating exactly what you want should
take no more than 2-3 clicks on your mouse and a bit of up & down
scrolling.
When moving through the category levels, hover your mouse
pointer over the images to bring up a description of the products in each
category. On the product pages, you can easily navigate by using the category
path at the top of every page.
You may add items to your shopping basket and then remove them
again at any time. After you’ve finished shopping, just click on the checkout
button and you’ll go through to our secure payment area where you confirm your
order, enter your address information and make your payment using any of these
credit or debit cards
    
If you prefer, you may pay by cheque.
RELIABILITY
We don’t claim to be perfect but we can assure you that we do
everything possible to ensure that our customers are satisfied. Over the
past 25 years we have successfully processed tens of thousands of orders
to destinations both in this country and around the world. We only use carriers
who have proved to be reliable and we take great care to ensure that goods
arrive at their destination in first-class condition. If you are in the U.K. we
aim to get your goods to you within 3 working days of receiving the order. If
there’s a problem we will let you know as soon as we can.
SECURITY
We use the latest high-level “SSL 128 bit” encryption techniques
to ensure that none of your personal or payment details can be seen or
intercepted by anyone else. The padlock, which appears in the bottom right-hand
corner of your screen, is verification that you are sending information
securely.
SATISFACTION
We only want satisfied customers. To this end we operate a
“satisfaction guarantee”. See below for details.

RETURN IT TO US WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIVING IT AND WE WILL REPLACE IT OR REFUND
YOUR MONEY. THIS GUARANTEE APPLIES ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN
OBSERVED:

You must contact us for a returns reference within 7 days of
receiving your goods and return them to us within 7 days of receiving a returns
reference.

You must send the goods to us at your cost.

We must receive the goods unused, undamaged, complete with all
accessories, cables, paperwork and packaging and in “as new” condition.
In situations where the above conditions are not fulfilled, we
will not be able to give full credit or replace the product. If you wish to
return goods to us, please contact us by e-mail at
returns@roadpro.co.uk. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory
rights and does not affect them. Please see below for further information.
DELIVERY:
You should receive your goods within 4 working days from the day
we receive your order. If we have any queries concerning your order we will
contact you by ‘phone or e-mail. We use a number of different carriers but none
of them can deliver goods if no one is present to accept them. Carriers will
deliver at any time between 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. on weekdays and we cannot
arrange for deliveries to be made at specific times. If the carrier cannot
deliver, they will normally leave a note asking you to contact them to make an
alternative arrangement.
DELIVERY CHARGES:
For orders of under £40.00 we have a standard delivery charge of £3.50 to anywhere within the area shown in yellow.
For orders of £40.00 or more, carriage is free within the area shown in yellow.
If your order is for more than £40.00 but we cannot deliver all items at the
same time, we will not charge you for delivery.
If your delivery address is outside the area shown in yellow, there may be additional
carriage costs. We will inform you
of these and you may then choose to accept or decline them.
PRODUCT WARRANTY
Unless otherwise stated, all our products are covered by a
12-month warranty against defects in materials or manufacturing. We are able to
solve a lot of problems over the ‘phone or by fax, e-mail or letter but, it’s a
fact of life that electrical and electronic products can go wrong. When they
do, we won’t let you down.
During the warranty period, we will repair the item or replace
it at our discretion and return it to you as quickly as possible. If we cannot
repair or replace it we will offer you an alternative or a refund. If you
suspect that a product is faulty, please e-mail us at
returns@roadpro.co.uk with details of the item, the fault and
information on when and where you bought it: an invoice number would be helpful
but your name, address and phone number are sufficient.
We will contact you and, if necessary, arrange with you to
collect the item and send you a shipping label. You must ensure that the goods
are securely packaged. We cannot be held responsible if goods are damaged in
transit as a result of insufficient packaging. We are only able to offer this
service to customers within mainland United Kingdom. Outside this area, goods
must be returned to us carriage paid.
You must send us all the accessories, cables, adaptors, remote
controls, etc. that were supplied with the item when you took delivery of it.
If the item is faulty and we replace it, we will only return to you the
accessories, paperwork, packaging, etc. that you returned to us.
When we receive the goods we will check them. If the product is
not faulty or not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we will contact you.
In such a situation, you must pay us a fee of £20.00 to cover carriage charges.
Outside the warranty period or if the fault is due to negligence, misuse or
fair wear and tear, there may also be a charge for repairing the item. Please
note that it is not always possible to repair products economically.
These terms and conditions apply from 1st August, 2006 and
override all previous terms and conditions

Your Statutory Rights
When buying goods and services, consumers are protected by a

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
gives consumers specific rights if they are buying goods by mail order, over
the ‘phone, by fax, interactive TV or via the Internet. As with most legal
matters the details are extensive and complex but the basic points of the
regulations are straightforward and simple to understand and work within.
The regulations give consumers a “cooling off period” of 7
working days from the day after the date of receipt of goods to notify the
supplier that they do not wish to keep the goods and want their money refunded.

You must take “reasonable care” of the goods and return them
to us at your expense. The goods must arrive at our premises in an undamaged,
re-saleable condition.
