Visit some relevant and interesting websites

There are now countless millions of websites on the Internet but there are some that we particularly like looking at for one reason or another. We thought you might too so, here they are. Some are useful, some are interesting, some are informative and some are, well, downright odd.

A World of Motorhomes

World of Motorhomes is a great place to look for all types of information relating to the leisure industry. The core of the site is intended to act as a complimentary service to the main Shows, acting as a constant reminder to show-goers and as a useful tool to those not able to attend or participate.

Al’s “Only Fools & Horses” Tribute Page

This is an excellent site which celebrates Peckham’s most famous residents.
Having spent 15 years in Peckham, we have a sentimental atachment to the place. And no, we don’t have a yellow Reliant Regal Supevan (not a Robin!) parked in the yard: ours is red.

Avoid those traffic jams

This is the website of the TMC Forum, an organisation which exists to promote and develop the Traffic Message Channel. TMC enables anyone with a suitable receiver to access traffic information relevant to their location and, if equipped with a compatible navigation system – Blaupunkt’s Lucca 5.2 for example – to automatically find an alternative route if necessary. The system is now up and running in parts of England and Wales, as well as many areas of Europe.

Leaded petrol is still available

If you have a vehicle which ought to be running on genuine leaded petrol, why bother with substitutes when you can get the real thing. For information on service stations all over the country which still stock the stuff, take a look at www.bayfordthrust.co.uk

Satellite for Caravans

A very useful site for anyone using satellite TV in a vehicle.
David Sullivan has obviously researched his subject thoroughly although - it has to be said - we at RoadPro don't necessarily agree entirely with everything he says, especially the bit about satfinders!
