Description
The CTEK XS3600 battery charger is ideal for use in cars, caravans, motorhomes, boats and, in fact, just about any vehicle or craft with a battery of up to 125Ah. It can be used with any type of lead acid battery including gel and AGM types.
Like all models in the CTEK range, it can be safely left connected indefinitely to ensure that a battery is in peak condition when it’s needed. It is completely safe in use and can even be left out in the rain.
With a 4-stage charging regime, the XS3600 will charge batteries at a constant rate of 3.6 Amps per hour unlike conventional linear chargers which may be rated at 10 Amps or more but which can rapidly drop down to as little as 1 Amp.

Ordered this charger at 3:00pm last Wednesday and it was delivered by courier before midday on the following day! Excellent service!
I’ve now connected it to a ’tired’ leisure battery and after 24 hours I’m pleased to report that the 110amp battery is now charged & resting.
Shall test again later to see if the charge is being held.

I tested the XS3600 for Sally Coffey from Motorcaravan Magazine. Now that I have had the charger longer I think I can confirm my initial reaction that it is a fantastic piece of equipment if you are on site and plugged into mains. We spent 2 weeks in France on sites and it maintained the batteries superbly without getting too warm, which was one of my concerns.

Bought one of these as I have classic cars which are unused during the winter. It is really good - has revived a battery from my MGB that I thought was dead. So good, I decided to fit its big brother the 7000 to a motorcaravan I was updating. See 7000 reviews!

An update. Have used this charger for a year and a half now with an Elecsol battery. It remains a superb piece of kit and I have given away all other chargers!

I have been using this charger for about 3 months and am delighted with it. It is very small and light and ideal for travelling camping use. Also my motorhome batteries have been rejuvenated. Well worth the money. Also very prompt delivery.

Our motor caravan battery is fairly tired and whilst the vehicle was laid up in the autumn it would only keep a charge for a few days. We have had the C-Tek hooked up since November with the van oustide on the drive and it seems to do "exactly what it says on the tin". We recently left it disconnected for over a week and the vehicle still started, so it seems to have had a beneficial effect on the battery's condition too. I'm ordering another one for the leisure battery!

It performs well on both lead acid and carbon fibre batteries and seems to do what it is supposed to.
