Although the Fit2Go TPMS will alert you to serious problems with your vehicle’s tyres, you should check them regularly for physical damage and to ensure that pressures are correct.

The Fit2Go “Pressure Checker” is a really clever and useful gadget which works with Fit2Go sensors and makes checking a tyre’s pressure easier than ever before! Just hold the unit close to a Fit2Go sensor and, using NFC (near field communication), the tyre’s pressure is displayed along with the state of charge of the sensor’s battery.

Even if the vehicle has been standing for a while, the “Pressure Checker” can still be used as it “wakes up” the sensor. Using it is quick, clean and easy and the pressure shown is accurate to +/- 0.4 PSI.

Customer Questions

Asked by Malcolm

What purpose will the pressure checker serve when it becomes available. Is one necessary in order to use the TPMS system?

Answered by Steve Scofield at RoadPro on February 01st, 2017

Hello Thank you for your enquiry.

The pressure checker is an optional extra, this allows you to read the tyre pressures without removing the sensors. Just hold the checker next to the sensor, press the button and a pressure readout will be displayed.

Asked by Alan

Will the pressure checker work with an existing fitted TPM system in a Hyundai IS35 FWD Diesel

Answered by Andrew Harris at RoadPro on July 13th, 2017

No, I'm afraid not. It will only work with the Fit2Go system.
